Top Flat offers the perfect Highland escape, nestled on the highest floor of Alvie House. Immerse yourself in the breath-taking views across Loch Bourne, with panoramic vistas of the Cairngorms and Glenfeshie. Steeped in history, this charming apartment blends character with modern comforts for a truly unique stay.

This spacious, south-facing apartment is thoughtfully designed for your comfort and convenience, ensuring a relaxing and memorable stay. We supply bed linen, towels, and complimentary tea towels for your kitchen needs.

During your stay, explore the stunning surroundings with a variety of activities available on Alvie and Dalraddy Estates, including wildlife watching, clay pigeon shooting, zipline, clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, fishing on Loch Alvie, and more.

Please note, WiFi in Top Flat is routed through Alvie House, which may result in occasional slower speeds.

Sleeps:
Five twin bedrooms

Bathing:
Two bathrooms with traditional roll top baths, one with overhead shower and a third separate toilet

Dining:
Fully-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Large separate dining room

Relaxing:
Large sitting room with plenty of comfy sofas and chairs, television, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker

Outside:
Access to some of the grounds of Alvie House and on occasion, to fishing on Loch Bourne & Loch Alvie. Plenty of walks to enjoy the fresh mountain air

Dogs:
You’re welcome to bring one or two well-behaved dogs. Fees are £25 per dog, however long you stay. We are located on a working farm so please keep dogs under control at all times.

Good to know:
The property is heated by our own woodchips. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the basement of Alvie House. for use during your stay.

May 2024 – Mountain Bike Trip

This trip was our fifth trip to Alvie estate and our third in the top flat, the location and size of the apartment and facilities is ideal for the group needs. All set in a fantastic part of the world

March 2024 – Stepping out of time

The Top Flat of Alvie House is warm, welcoming and unique; radiating a calm peaceful energy, and the views… We had a very special time with everyone wanting to return. We were very well looked after by the hosts. A wonderful, special weekend ensued.

February 2024 – just what we needed

A lovely spacious house in an amazing setting on the estate, lots of activities, very well looked after, would definitely recommend for big groups
